It's Sprinter Time

April 8, 2018

Good morning.  The sun is shining, but it is still nippy outside.  Too nippy to set up the new greenhouse.  Friday, while I was posting here, I looked up and saw that it was snowing.  Surprise!  It snowed most of the day.

Then sometime mid afternoon, the snow stopped and disappeared just as quickly as it came here.  I don't always like it, but one has to agree that weather is pretty amazing.

I downloaded a few rather funny images from the web to share here.  They are just so appropriate for the weather that we've been having.  I hope they start your day with a good chuckle.

Yesterday the new adding machine that I had ordered arrived.  I had to laugh at the teeny tiny roll of paper that came with it.  I guess I'll have to go online and order some rolls of paper to use with it.  It will be a big help to be able to add up my columns (in my tax notebook) as I go along.

I finally had to put in a complaint to Pay Pal about TD Creations.  Even though I've sent three emails and made several phone calls (that are never answered), this company won't get back to me.  This is where I purchased the last two dolly dress patterns from.  You don't get the pattern on paper, you get download links.  Only one link worked.  It's not a lot of money, but it is the idea that this company is not honest or reputable.

It's sad how these wonderful projects and patterns are so difficult to find nowadays.  If you can find them on Etsy or other internet stores, they are usually very expensive.  When you can find a craft supply company that carries what you need at a reasonable price, it is very uplifting.  But only if they actually give you the product you purchase.

Yesterday, I started my Toss and Throw project.  Mind you, it was just a tiny start.  What I tossed out would only fill a lunch bag, but at least it went out to the recycle bin.  Today I'll give it another try.  Hopefully, I can toss out more than one lunch bag full of stuff.  chuckle, chuckle, chuckle.

Today I have a new quick page for you.  This one is for everyone who has a birthday in April.  Your birthstone is diamond.  Did you know that diamonds come in every color?  Yup they do.  The colored diamonds are called "fancy diamonds."

Here is your download link:
Expired

Now I think I'll make a fresh cup of coffee and do a bit of blog reading.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Hi Edna, have you tried Pinterest for your dolly patterns? They usually have a large collection of free patterns for all sorts. Maybe worth a try ?

More snow? Here too. I am so looking forward to warm weather and flowers. Our poor gardens don't know what is happening. Hope you get things worked out with your pattern company and with PayPal.

Hi,
A bit under the weather. Feeling a little better. Not sure how long I will be up but I am going to try and not over do it.
I love your funnies. They did make me chuckle. We are supposed to get some more cold weather, some parts even severe. It didn't say anything about your area on my news, but I hope that it stays away.
My niece ordered about a hundred dollars of lights that goes on to their fishing boat so other boaters can see them at night. The UPS people threw the box into a ditch and most of the lights were broken. She called the company but they said they were not responsible so she contacted PayPal and they were refunded their money without any problems at all. I hope that you get your order straightened out as easy as she did. It's a shame that some people will not even take the time to resend you the link.
Going over and work on my blog. Have a super day my friend... Love to Pogo too... Beth

Afternoon Missy and Pogo! Thanks for the cute QP! Hope our weather (which is nice for the moment) comes your way soon! Been a real yo-yo roller coaster with the warm/cold/windy/rainy/hail/warm/cool/warm weather in this area. Lots of folks still recouping from the wishy washy weather around these parts, but at least....(fingers crossed) no snow to contend with! Mother Nature cannot make up her mind this year at all! LMBO! Anyhow, love reading your e-mails. Customer Service is on the downhill slide so much lately, hopefully you get it corrected. Thanks again for the lovely QP and have a marvelous rest of the week! Hugs, Mat
