Today Starts Daylight Savings Time

March 11, 2018

Good morning.  Tis gorgeous outside.  The sun is shining and temps later on will hit 80F degrees.  The warm sun feels good on these old bones.  I'd love to take this weather home with me.  By the way, I hope I didn't  throw everyone off by posting yesterday.  I'll post next Saturday too just in case I don't get a chance to do it on Sunday.

Yesterday we went to the other flea market on the other side of downtown.  Sadly, it was rather a disappointment this year.  A lot of my favorite vendors have moved out, and I was not impressed with the new ones.  I guess we'll stick with the flea market by the Orange Dome store.

While we were out, we stopped by Walmart to pick up a few lunch items.  Somehow, I lost my way in the huge parking lot and had trouble finding my way out.  The  place is huge!  This is a quick shot of some of it from the road.

When we got home, I thought I might sit out on the porch and crochet for a while. I'm still trying to adjust the dolly dress pattern to fit the dolly.  So far, I've ripped it all out and started over four times. Each time I write down what I'm doing.  (just in case I get it right!)  I guess I'll have to order new dolly bodies when I can find them if I want to make these dresses.

Today I thought I would share some photos of Pogo.  In  the first two photos, he is relaxing on the porch.  He had quite a bit to say, as you can see in the second photo.  I'm not sure what it was that he was spouting off about, but he is not shy, that's for sure!

In this next photo, we were at Old Town and he was fascinated with all the sights.  He loves seeing all the people and places.

Well, did everyone remember to set the clocks ahead? Last night I tried to set the clock on our stove but I just could not figure it out.  I'll let housekeeping or maintenance take care of it when we see them.  At least now the clock back in my living room at home will be the right time.  I'm not tall enough to change the time on it so it has been one hour fast these past six months.

Today I have a new quick page for you.  This one features herb plants.  Yup, it's that time of year when we start planting seeds for all our favorite herbs. I hope  you like it.

Here is your download link:

Now it's time to put together a few things for the laundry.  Beth is wanting to go to the laundry building and do a load of wash.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a great day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Could you please bring the 80* weather home with you? I could use some warm temps. Well, it is getting some warmer here although we are to have another snow storm today and into tomorrow morning. So glad you are having a great time in Florida. The pictures of Pogo are so adorable!

Hi Edna,
Sitting across from you having our coffee and enjoying reading your blog. Yep that parking lot is super confusing. It is nice that it is just across the street from us but it is like a race track maze.
Pogo is such a handsome guy and you were able to get some good photos of him. He is finally getting use to me I think!

Thank you for the beautiful QP.... xxxx Beth
