It's Time For Some Roses

April 19, 2019

Good morning.  Today is cool, only 46F degrees at the moment, but headed for the low 50's.  But, the sun is shining and there is a nice breeze, and I've just put my plants back outside.  The petals keep falling off my parrot tulip plant.  Awwww, I wish the blossoms lasted longer.

Today I'm running a little late (slept in a bit late) and I seem to be doing things a bit slower.  Today will be a "rest a lot" day.  Even my car is slowing down.  The battery is dead.  I tried to start my car yesterday, but it just would not even sputter.  Maybe when one of the kids comes by, I'll have them jump start the battery.

I went through my old collab kits, and found one to share.  This one is called "A Rose Is A Rose" and these are the parts that I contributed to the kit.

Here are the download links:

The kit is named "A Rose Is A Rose" but I had to change the name on the zip files to "Spring Roses" in order to get the links to upload correctly.  Don't ask, I don't understand this either!!

This is going to be a short post because now I have to figure out what to make for supper.  DIL Janet is supposed to be coming by later and I said I would cook tonight, rather than order "take out."

So, on that note I'll take my leave.  Till tomorrow, Y'all have a beautiful day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Hi Edna,
And a big snuggly Hello to Pogo too.

We have had some chicken soup. A stomach virus hit my family today. It is 2 in the morning here and I woke up hungry so I heated up a can of chicken soup. I thought that I could eat the entire thing, but no, my stomach said for me to take it easy so I had a little and gave the rest to Cisco. He was delighted. Now he is back in bed with Chicki and Baby. Well Baby is in the bed somewhere. He tucks him in every night. Chicki is at the top of his head, silently keeping guard duty.

I am sorry to hear of your car battery. I forget since I don't drive anymore how you have to start them periodically and let them run to keep the battery charged. I hope someone can boost it for you soon.

The weather is getting nicer where your at and hotter where I am at. It has been very warm here today. I wish that I had enjoyed the cool front a little more while we had it.

I am still a little shaky so I am going to test my sugar and then go to back to bed. I have spent most of my day in bed. Looks like I am not ready to be up very long just yet. I am better and Jonathan seems better. I am not sure about Karyn. I really hope that Nathan doesn't get this bug.
Sweet dreaming to you and Pogo. I hope that your both sleeping well... Hugs Beth and the gang!

Always such a shame that a flower bouquet doesn;t last too long.
But soon we will have our flowers in the garden to look at.
My azalea is almost opening its little flowers. That will bring some color to the garden again.
Have a nice time with Janet.
Hugs
Kyra
