Getting Anxious To Start New Projects

March 23, 2016

Good morning.  It's going to be warmer here today but it will stay cloudy, gray and wet all day.  I don't know if Pogo and I will go out to do any errands today.  I'm waiting for SIL Eddie to call to let me know if we will meet him today to pick out the new bathroom cabinet.  It will all depend on whether or not his friend with the truck is available.

Yesterday turned out to be a gorgeous sunny day, and Pogo spent most of it curled up on a blanket in front of the door.  My little guy loves to lay in the sun.  I don't imagine he saw much sunshine when he was living in a cage.

Lately I've been getting anxious to start sewing again.  I pulled a few photos out of my archives that show our Jazzy modeling her new "princess dresses" that I had made for her when she was quite young.  She loved to dress up in ruffles and long dresses.

DIL Janet might be coming by later this afternoon, so I'll be able to ask her when she'll be ready to sign up for the sewing classes and hopefully, pick out new sewing machines.  This will be something fun to look forward to.

SIL Eddie just called again to say that he was on his way here.  So, it's time for me to get dressed to be ready to go to the store with him.  First, let me post a QP for you.  This one celebrates the beginning of Spring.

Now I really must get busy here.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Oh Edna,
What a doll little Jazzy was and those dresses are just way too cute! I have a sewing machine that Karyn gave me that belonged to her husbands grandmother. It is a nice one but I don't know how to sew. Well I do but not well. I made body pillows for all the kids, mine and my niece's and nephews for Christmas one year and I made Christmas stockings and Halloween trick or treat bags for all of them. Other than that I just used the machine for repairs and odds and ends. My first attempts ended up with the needle in my finger... (Ouch) and I made an apron, a short sleeved top and a quilt top that my mom quilted. I was so glad that part of Home Ec was over. We moved on to cooking and I excelled at that.

I am glad that I read your blog because I almost called you. I will try and call you tomorrow if your home. I am going to lay down for a bit. I took care of all my dr. appointments and schedules. I am having surgery done on my left big toe April 11th. I hope that he gives me something before he starts in.

Talk to you soon. Hugs to you and Pogo...... Love Beth and Cisco

I didn't realize you sewed as well as crochet. You are a lady of many talents.

Edna have a great week. We have a blizzard and I am very happy I can stay indoors. Lots of little things to do around here, laundry, dishes, cleaning, you get the idea. Somedays I love it all and other times I wish I were still working except not today. Have a good week xo

Jasmine is such a cute doll showing off her dresses!!! I guess it always was in her blood, the acting she is doing now in the musicals.
I am not any good in sewing, but you are great in it and yes, why not do somthing with that talent of yours?
Yesterday we had a bit of greish weather, not cold but also not really nice. Oh well, sme days have more sunshine than others at the moment. Already am glad the temperatures go up, we have them around 10 C and the next few days could even be to 12C.Not bad.
Have a lovely day
